It all started when..........

A love of coffee and a desire to bring high grade speciality coffee to Ireland was at the forefront of our minds.

We started with a Coffee Machine serving up delectable brews to the ever-growing coffee curious public. With their support, we went on to expand our operation and purchased a Giesen 6kg small batch coffee roaster. This enabled us to source green coffees from some of the most progressive producers around the globe, roast these to perfection and serve them (in style) to the public of Cork City, and all this happened under one roof at 23 Tuckey St, Cork City, Ireland.

Since, we have continued to expand. Opening 3 more SOMA cafes and by moving our roasting operation out of the cafe and down to The Black Market, on Monahan Road, just a stone's throw from the city centre. We also have upgraded our Giesen roaster twice in the last 2 years, from a 6Kg to a 15kg and this year expanding our operations with a state of the art 30kg Giesen W30KG Pro, the only current one situated in ireland. In doing this, we have been able to extend & develop our wholesale reach twofold both nationally and internationally.

From Africa to South and Central America and everywhere in between; we source our green coffee beans both directly and through importers, all of which are accredited, high grade specialty coffee farms & brokers.
