Sourced from the highlands of Jaén, this lot combines microlots from two dedicated producers: Elvis Reynerio Tineo Rafael and the Marin Mirez family. Growing at elevations up to 1,850 masl, these producers lean on generations of expertise to navigate the region’s humid microclimate and rich clay-loam soils.
In partnership with Falcon Coffees Peru’s "Specialty Plus" project, both producers focus on meticulous quality and sustainable farming. This lot underwent an extended natural fermentation, where cherries are carefully rested to concentrate sugars and enhance complexity. Drying is precisely managed to ensure consistency and a stable, high-quality cup. Expect pineapple, seville orange marmalade, and jammy tropicals, with a lush, decadent sweetness and a tropical finish.
